Our charity rescues, rehabilitates, and trains dogs saved from euthanasia to help protect wildlife, working alongside Police, National Parks, and local conservation areas. Dog Food

With many dogs in our care, proper nutrition is essential for their health, energy, and ability to train effectively. These dogs are active, intelligent, and highly focused, and they need high-quality food to support their physical development, mental sharpness, and recovery after long training sessions. Many arrive underweight or malnourished, so consistent, nutritious meals are critical to getting them back on track. Medical Alert Fundraising

Medical alert training is one of the most specialised and life-saving forms of work our rescue dogs can do—but it’s also one of the most intensive and costly. Teaching a dog to reliably detect and respond to seizures, diabetic crashes, or other medical emergencies requires months of expert guidance, consistent practice, and a highly individualised approach. The impact is profound: these dogs become constant companions and silent guardians, able to intervene before a crisis escalates. GPS Collars

GPS collars are essential tools in our work with rescue dogs, providing safety, precision, and accountability during training and field operations. Whether our dogs are tracking wildlife, searching for missing persons, or learning to respond to medical emergencies, GPS collars allow us to monitor their location in real time—crucial in large, unpredictable environments like the Zimbabwean bush. They help prevent dogs from getting lost, ensure we can respond quickly in an emergency, and allow us to track and analyze their movement for training improvements. Simply put, GPS collars keep our dogs safe while empowering them to do their life-saving work more effectively.

Veterinary Care

Veterinary care is absolutely vital to the health, wellbeing, and performance of our rescue dogs. Many of the dogs we take in have had difficult starts to life—some arrive malnourished, injured, or with underlying medical conditions that need urgent attention. Ongoing veterinary care ensures they are not only healthy enough to begin training, but also stay in peak condition as they take on demanding roles in the field. From vaccinations and routine check-ups to emergency treatment and preventative care, veterinary support allows us to give these dogs the second chance they deserve—while ensuring they are fit, safe, and able to carry out the life-saving work they’re trained for.

Indoor Training Facility

An indoor training facility is critical for the safety, consistency, and progression of our rescue dogs’ development—especially in Zimbabwe’s harsh climate. During the peak of summer, extreme heat and intense sun can make outdoor training dangerous for both dogs and handlers, often forcing us to pause vital sessions. An indoor space would allow us to train year-round, providing a safe, temperature-controlled environment where dogs can focus, learn, and thrive without risk of heat stress or weather disruptions. It would also give us a dedicated space to run workshops, host community education sessions, and grow our impact sustainably. This facility isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity for building a strong, resilient program that puts dog welfare and effective training first.
